Jose Calderon is good enough to start for many teams but the Raptors resisted trading him because starting point guard T.J. Ford has been fragile in his career. Calderon has played in 15 games so far this season and he’s averaged 24.6 minutes, 9.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. Look for Calderon to keep the fast paced offense of the Raptors purring when he’s on the court this season.
