Chris Bosh was outstanding last season for the Toronto Raptors

Blogged under Bloglockers, Steppin Up, Front Page by alleyoop on Wednesday 30 May 2007 at 9:19 am

Chris Bosh improved on his career averages across the board as he had the best season of his young career.  In 69 games last season, Bosh averaged 38.5 minutes, 22.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.  Bosh’s shooting also improved as he nailed 49.6% of his shots from the floor, 34.3% from the three-point line and 78.5% from the free throw line.

Bosh’s career numbers improved across the board due to his fine play of last year.  In 295 career NBA games, Bosh has averaged 37.1 minutes, 18.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.  Bosh has hit 48.5% of his shots from the floor, 27.8% of his three pointers and 77.5% from the free throw line.  Look for Bosh’s career numbers to continue to improve as he’s just scratching the surface of his potential.

What can you say Bosh was a pleasant suprise. Alittle more scoring surrounding him and we will see a playoff team year and year out.

I think the Raptors will be fine. I really like their point guard combo and I think Andrea Bargnani is going to be really good soon. He reminds me of a young Dirk Nowitzki.
