Fred Jones needs to pick it up on the court

Blogged under Need to step up, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Monday 15 January 2007 at 11:07 am

The Raptors were expecting much more from Jones when they signed him as a free agent in the off-season.  Jones has played in 34 games and has averaged 24.5 minutes, 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game this season.  Those numbers are not the problem for Jones…..the problem has been his shooting.  Jones has only hit 38.8% of his shots from the floor this season and that needs to improve if he’s to continue playing as much as he is right now.
