Jorge Garbajosa slowing down lately

Jorge Garbajosa hasn’t played well lately.  In his last 8 games, Garbajosa is averaging 5.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game.  He also has shot poorly as he’s only hit 30.6% of his shots from the floor.  If he doesn’t pick up his play soon, his minutes will probably be cut.

Jose Calderon really playing well

Jose Calderon has really played well lately.  In his last 8 games, Calderon is averaging 23.1 minutes, 10.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.  Calderon is also shooting 55.7% is this stretch of games and has been making the offense go when he’s in the game.

The Raptors thump the Bobcats 105-84 in Toronto

The Raptors shot 51.2% from the floor as a team and outscored the Bobcats 49-31 in the second half to prevail in this game.  Chris Bosh led the way for the Raptors with 20 points and 5 rebounds.  Jose Calderon had a solid game with 19 points and 11 assists.

Raptors get beat 102-94 by the Utah Jazz in Toronto

The Raptors got thumped 45-34 on the boards by the Jazz and that’s why they lost last night.  Chris Bosh led the way for the Raptors with 29 points and 11 rebounds.  Jose Calderon also had a good game, off the bench, with 16 points and 5 assists.

The Raptors want it more and win 101-85 over the Kings in Toronto

The Raptors really stepped it up in the 4th quarter as they outscored the Kings 33-16 and won the game because of that.  They also hit the boards hard and outrebounded the Kings 42-33.  Morris Peterson led the way for the Raptors off the bench with 22 points and 5 rebounds.  Chris Bosh also had a very solid game with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.  Jorge Garbajosa was very active with 16 points and 6 rebounds last night.
