The Toronto Raptors have won 7 of their last 10 games and have rose to the top of the Atlantic Division. They sit at 22-23, which isn’t that great, but good enough for first place in the division. The Raptors would be even better if Chris Bosh and T.J. Ford would have been healthy all season. Bosh is having an incredible season as he’s averaging 22.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. He is unstoppable inside and his outside shot is improving with every game he plays. T.J. Ford is everything the Raptors thought he would be….and more! Ford is averaging 15.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game this season. He has made everyone around him better on the offensive side of the court. Â
The Raptors have also gotten good contributions from Anthony Parker (11.7 avg), Morris Peterson (10.7 avg) and Jose Calderon (8.2 points, 4.6 assists per game) on offense. Also, rookies Andrea Bargnani (10.1 avg) and Jorge Garbajosa (8.4 points, 5.2 rebounds) have really excelled on the court.
Things are looking good for the Raptors as the Nets have suffered major injuries to their team and the Knicks are very up and down. As long as the Raptors keep playing like they are right now, they should win this division as long as they stay healthy.
