T.J. Ford doing great job at the point

Blogged under Steppin Up, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Friday 15 December 2006 at 10:20 pm

T.J. Ford has given the Raptors everything they wanted when they traded for him.  Ford is making the players around him better, which is what a point guard is supposed to do.  Ford is averaging 14.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game so far this season.  He’s shot well hitting 45.5% of his shots from the floor and 77.5% from the free-throw line.  Ford is one of the fastest players in the NBA, which is the new kind of player that the Raptors want.  They want to run like the Suns do, but they’ll need a couple of more pieces to achieve that goal.
