The Jazz out-scored the Raptors 30-19 in the 4th quarter to down the Raptors on Monday Night.

Raptors lose track meet with Nuggets 117-109

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 21 November 2006 at 1:32 pm

The Raptors just couldn’t keep up with the Nuggets and alot of the reason for that was because the Nuggets out-rebounded them 58-37.

Chris Bosh had another great game with 31 points and 9 rebounds.  TJ Ford was awesone on Saturday Night as he scored 26 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 18 assists.  Rookie center Jorge Garbajosa had another good game with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists.  Fred Jones pitched in with 13 points and 4 assists.

The Raptors fell to 2-7 on the season.

Raptors come close, but lose to Lakers 107-100

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Saturday 18 November 2006 at 3:17 am

The Raptors got out-rebounded 43-36 and the Lakers hit 54.8% from the floor.  It’s hard to win that way.

Chris Bosh had a good night with 20 points & 10 rebounds.  Mo Pete came off the bench and added 20 points and 5 rebounds.  TJ Ford directed the attack well with 13 points and 6 assists.  Fred Jones was very active with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.  Jorge Garbajosa started his first game of his career with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals.  Jose Calderon pitched in with 10 points off the bench.

The Raptors gave a good effort, but fall to 2-6 on the season.

Ford giving the Raptors what they want

Blogged under Steppin Up, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Thursday 16 November 2006 at 3:03 pm

When the Raptors traded Charlie Villanueva to the Bucks for T.J. Ford they thought they were getting a good court general…and they were right.  Ford has been directing the attack and providing them with more scoring then they had anticipated.  He has averaged 14.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.7 assists so far this season.  If Ford can keep up with the fine play, the Raptors will be a better team than alot of people expect them to be.

Raptors can’t keep up with Warriors 110-99

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 6:00 pm

The Raptors out-rebounded the Warriors 53-42, but they were out-scored 34-19 in the 4th quarter and it cost the Raptors the game.

Can’t blame Chris Bosh for the loss as he scored 23 points & grabbed 22 rebounds.  T.J. Ford had a good all-around game with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.  Anthony Parker had a decent game with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  Fred Jones (11 points) & Jorge Garbajosa (10 points & 6 rebounds) also helped out on offense.

The Raptors were leading this game after three quarters and they need to start finishing games off.  The Raptors have fallen to 2-5 on the season.
